“Healing is a process not an event!”

We include a treatment plan with each assessment. Please consider reserving your follow ups ahead so that your busy schedule can match up with our clinician’s and allow us to guide you to your goals. Our admin team recommends reserving 2 spaces a week for the first 2 weeks after assessment to ensure we are able to allow you to follow the Treatment Action Plan you and your clinician decide on. If changes need to be made on the day that’s no problem.

I was born in Trail, BC in the Kootenays. Growing up I’ve always been active, whether it was team sports, dancing or skiing. I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do in school switching my degree multiple times. My love of exercise was always a constant passion so eventually it led me to kinesiology.

I’ve been in Victoria from 2018 to 2022 completing my kinesiology degree. I graduated from Camosun College after completing my 300 hr co-op placement at Parkway Physiotherapy in Happy Valley, before getting offered a kinesiologist position at our Sooke location. I’m excited to bring strength and conditioning to the Sookies.

I like to approach my clients’ treatment with attention to their main goals, while educating on the importance of exercise technique and how our work in the gym can translate to their everyday life. Every time I teach a client how to properly deadlift or “lift something off the ground” and they have that mind to muscle connection, I get so excited. I find so much empowerment mentally and physically from strength training and I love to share that with my clients. When I’m not at work you can find me hanging in Victoria, walking along the ocean, drinking coffee at a cafe or in the gym!

I obtained a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West in the Bay Area of California USA, graduating June 2022 with top clinical and Summa Cum Laude academic honours. Prior to my chiropractic doctorate, I attended the University of Victoria studying Kinesiology. Graduating with a Bachelors of Science Honours. Growing up in the western communities I developed a huge interest in outdoor activities, and sports. I played in the local football and soccer clubs in Sooke B.C, and eventually switching to high performance rugby and football; which lead me to play for the Westshore Rebels football and into the USA on a rugby scholarship at Life West. Joining the Otter Point Fire Department at the age of 19 on a volunteer basis with which I maintain a volunteer status. During my down time I can be found hiking and exploring, playing football and rugby or in the gym.

Clinically I have a large interest to work with occupational athletes such as firefighters, police, military, first responders, ambulance attendants and trade workers. Along with an interest in neurological patients such as MS, spinal cord injuries, and others. I aspire to work with my patients to maximize their quality of life if it be living without chronic pain or competing at their highest level of activity possible.
